Butler's special gift to Yashvi before returning to the country

NEW DELHI: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has decided to suspend the IPL indefinitely after the number of Kovid cases in the country increased and bio-safety zones were breached. Soon after the announcement, all the cricketers and support staff involved in different teams started rushing to return to their respective homes. England batsman Joss Butler, who is associated with the Rajasthan Royals, is no exception. But before returning to the country, the wicketkeeper-batsman went to Rajasthan with a special gift to his teammate and his opening partner Yashsvi Jaisyal.

Butler has given this young talented Indian batsman a bat and a special message on it. He wrote, ‘For glory. Enjoy your talent. Good luck. '(To Yash, enjoy your talent. Best wishes). This picture has been posted from the official social media of Rajasthan Royals team.

For England's aggressive batsman Butler, the ups and downs were mixed at the start of the 14th IPL season. However, in the last match he was seen in good rhythm. He scored a century. In terms of opening partner, he also has to bat first with Ben Stokes, then with Manon Vohra. But if Stokes is out of the competition due to injury and fails to perform a contemplation, the young batsman is given a chance to open with Butler. And given the opportunity, this opening pair was playing quite well.

The two batsmen shared a 6-run partnership against Mumbai and an 18-run partnership against Hyderabad. However, at a time when it seemed that the Rajasthan opener's problem was solved, the IPL was postponed indefinitely due to the attack on players, coaches and support staff of multiple teams. Eight English cricketers, including Butler, returned home on Wednesday.
