Red Volunteers on the streets with updates on Hurricane Yass every moment

MEDINIPUR: I am also dealing with Corona, even during the cyclone - such is the path taken by the Red Volunteers of the CPI (M) who became vacant in the Assembly. A terrible virus storm is raging in the state. Hurricane Yass’l is expected to hit the Bay of Bengal coastal district and adjoining districts.

Understanding the situation, this time Red Volunteers is giving an update on the cyclone image and announcing any help after the storm. Pictures of the cyclone warning campaign have been spread in Dantan under the direction of the West Midnapore District CPIM.

According to the Meteorological Department, cyclone ‘Yaas’ will enter the coastal area with all its might on Wednesday. Analysis is going on with his speed. Coastal East Midnapore, South 24 Parganas will be hit hardest by ‘Yaas’ storm. The coastal districts adjoining North 24 Parganas, West Midnapore, Howrah and Kolkata are likely to be hit by the storm. Experts say that ‘Yaas’ will cross West Bengal and move towards Bangladesh.

Former Sundarbans Development Minister Kanti Ganguly, a veteran CPI (M) leader, has given the message that after reaching the Sundarbans area like every storm, he will go for relief and rescue work. He said he was ready to deal with ‘Yaas’ like Amphan.

Upon receiving the message from the veteran leftist leader, the CPIM's young Red Volunteers team 'Yaas' went down to the coastal and adjoining districts of South Bengal with caution and assistance. The organisation's role in helping the Corona outbreak is now being discussed in national and international media across the state.

In response to the ‘Yaas’, the Red Volunteers force initially began to give the message of the direction of the storm. According to sources, they are also going to go down in the post-storm relief delivery.

Meanwhile, Kanti Gangopadhyay has joined hands to face ‘Yaas’. Kantibabu, who has vast experience in dealing with various cyclones including Amphan, has appealed to the state government. He wrote on Facebook, “Two appeals to the state government and the people:

1: Before sheltering the people in the flood shelter, the body temperature should be checked and a separate shelter should be made for the sick people so that the corona does not spread further in the village.

2: People should store rain water if they need it, because if the dam is broken, it is unfit to drink salt water. ”
